Convention is just around the corner!!

So I am leaving early on Monday morning and headed to Salt Lake City Utah. I am very excited, nervous, and anxious. I have only left my children one other time for two days with Grandma JJ and now they will have them until the following Sunday. Daddy is looking forward to catching up on his movies and sleep :)

Here is the card that I created for swapping with other demonstrators. I have 96 of these completed and tonight I will be creating 10 2-page layout boy themed scrapbook pages. I will probably not be able to post anything from Convention either b/c I will be too busy or not have computer access.

I will probably be at Convention when my blog hits a whopping 1,000 views!! Thanks to all you viewers! So for that I will also be picking up some blog candy as a thank you. So to enter the blog candy giveaway tell me what your favorite family tradition is... (hence I am trying to find one for my lil family!) I look forward to reading your traditions.

OK...so I can't think of anything THAT interesting, cause I'm not sure my family had many traditions. But one thing I know we always enjoyed doing at Christmas was setting up out Nativity scene. But, we'd do everything to how the bible told the story. So we would move Mary and Joseph along the mantle, little by little everyday...then on Christmas day someone would get to unwrap baby Jesus who had been under tree. THE END GIVE ME CANDY! :)

this year we are trying to come up with our own traditions as well. One that I know we have for birthdays are having a muffin or donut with a candle for breakfast, and we sing of course, with a birthday balloon on the boy chair.
Then for Christmas we always wrap the presents from mommy/daddy but Santa's present are always in one big bag not wrapped.
Hope this helps some! Love ya!

Congratulations on the new little one! Your swap card is terrific. I'm a first-timer to Convention, too. I'm freakin' excited.

I am not sure this qualifies as a tradition, but my family always has the same menu for Thanksgiving and Christmas: turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, noodles, corn. You don't mess with the menu or you have he** to pay. And you set the potatoes before the noodles in the buffet line!!
