My cravings and a blog giveaway

Wow I can't believe how sloooowww this bed rest business is going! It is very quiet around here during the week. I am sure grandma JJ is sick of me calling twice a day to check on my boys. It is not about how they are doing it is more about me just wanting and longing to hear their sweet voices. My boys are both very energetic and imaginative and always keep me entertained. I enjoy all the stories that the grandparents are sharing and the boys LOVE telling me what they have been up to. I miss them so much and Fridays can't get here soon enough. We have been leaving surprises for them in their beds to come home to. This week is their own chap stick :)

With that said I have been enjoying my time by reading, working on the projects from my challenge, and taking long naps!

I wanted to share one of my cravings I have been having lately. Mmmm mmmm good! Brian introduced me to hot cocoa with MILK instead of WATER! I will NEVER go back to water again. This has changed my world. I know what you are thinking hmm strawberries not on the angel food cake. NO not me I can't stand a soggy angel food cake. So I have a side of sugar for those strawberries instead.

My other new indulgence is the new Bounce Dryer Bar! I am in love with this product! Have you tried it yet? Well then here is your chance. I have yet to find a dryer sheet on my floor, in my shirt sleeve at church, or a big fire hazard pile in my dryer.

Leave a comment about what your favorite craving is and you could win this Dryer Bar!! Best of luck! Drawing ends Wed. of next week at Noon and is only open to US residents.

Weirdest craving while pregnant was celery with salt :) If I'm hungry for a snack now, I tend to go for Doritos or Pringles...how healthy :)

Recently I have been getting cravings for the "brownie bling" concrete at Sheridans.....yes I know, ice cream in the winter is a bit odd....but they are soo good! Vanilla custard with brownie pieces and peanut butter with warm chocolate fudge sauce in the middle. DELICIOUS!!! oh, and of course I get cravings for cheese fries all the time. I wish I could get cravings for grapes or carrots.

I know this is a little boring but Mike has been making this GREAT texas chili that we have to have at least twice a week. I put it over rice and sprinkle with shredded cheese!! MMMM...it's such good comfort food for the winter. Oh and of course chocolate chip brownies with chocolate syrup cooked in them. Now, I'm hungry!

Peppermint ice cream and Uncrustables. That was my craving with Audrey.
With Isaac I craved those Reeses peanut butter eggs, trees, hearts- etc.
I'm still thinking of a craft for you... we'll see if I come up with anything!

My craving with Tegan was pickles! I couldn't eat enough them! Once the pickles were gone it was time to get a straw to drink the juice! To this day, I really don't eat alot of pickles!

So many pregnancies, so many cravings, mostly for French fries and Diet Coke. But, Lainie topped them all. With her pregnancy, I craved tuna and Caesar salad (aren't they both on the *caution while pregnant* list?) I'd stop by McDonalds to pick up a Caesar salad for breakfast, eat a tuna sandwich for lunch, try to sneak one in for snack, and another Caesar salad for supper. YUM!

Oh I can still remember them all!! In the beginning it was Mesquite BBQ Krunchers, went through bags and bags. Then on to pepperoncinis, would buy them from Sams... At the end it was sweets. Tiny white powdered donuts and E.L. Fudge cookies. I would eat a pack so fast Mike wouldn't even get a chance to get any!! Too bad I don't have an excuse anymore!

Ok Courtney. I am not real sure what my cravings were when my children were little. That has been way too long ago but I did want to share one of my new findings that I found. Lysol automatic hand soap dispenser. All you do is put your hand under the spout and the soap pours out, just the right amount. I found it at Walmart for under $10.00 and it is even refillable. Love it.
